It's not readily apparent, but this is a crackle glaze, which means it purposely has tiny cracks in the glaze surface to foster an aged look. Spills or routine cleaning may accentuate the crazing, which may be just the effect you're after...or not. If not, consider using a different glaze or having it sealed.
